Women at War Caught on Camera
A unique exhibition has opened at the Royal Artillery Museum in Woolwich exploring the role of women serving in the British Army during World War II and on current operations. As well as a combination of historical artifacts from the museum's Firepower collection, female soldiers have been captured on camera during peacekeeping duties in Afghanistan in a series of thought provoking and powerful images. The display is the work of award-winning photojournalist Alison Baskerville.
