"Restrepo" - Trailer

In this documentary, filmmakers Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger follow the 2nd Platoon of Battle Company on a 15-month deployment in the Korengal Valley of northeast Afghanistan in the Nuristan area. Rather than impose a traditional narrative structure on real-life events, the film presents an edited version of what happened to the men in chronological order. The result is one of the most compelling films ever about war, capturing both the boredom and fury that soldiers face in the field. (2010)
