Who Wins the 2017 Battle of the Army-Navy Spirit Videos?

Army is flying high after its 21-17 upset win over Navy last year. Navy fans console themselves by pointing out that it was Army's first win in the series since 2001 and claiming that none one will be impressed until the Black Knights win two in a row.

The best thing about the Army-Navy game? Spirit videos. All spirit videos are good, even the poorly edited ones shot on low-rent smartphones. But there are a few that go above and beyond with high-end production values and extra creativity.

Army

Lieutenant General Robert Caslen is the Superintendent of the U.S. Military Academy and he stars in an epic 10-minute heist video designed to rile up the Middies before game time.

Navy

Rylan Tuohy is a filmmaker who joined the Navy in 2012. "HELM YEAH!" is short and to the point, using the Navy recruitment commercial format to get some famous veterans to almost curse. It's immature and hilarious. (Ryan previously went viral with 7.4 million views of his "Naptown Funk" video in 2015).

The 2017 Army-Navy Game takes place at 3pm on Saturday, December 9th at Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field. Also on the line is the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. Both Army and Navy defeated Air Force this season, so Saturday's winner also gets the service academy trophy.

Army's on fire this season with an 8-3 record and an upcoming game with San Diego State on December 23rd in the Armed Forces Bowl. Navy has struggled to a 6-5 record but still earned an invitation play Virginia in the Military Bowl on December 28th.

Who nailed their spirit video? Who's going to win on Saturday? Let us know in the comments!
