Anyone who took high school driver's education classes in the '70s or '80s remembers those brutal scare films designed to scare everyone out of drinking and driving. They were usually bloodier than anyone you could see in a movie theater back then and, inevitably, someone threw up in a trash can or ran crying from the room.
Kids today have seen a hell of a lot more in movies like Saw and Hostel, but some kind soul at AT&T decided to revive the genre to combat the modern menace of texting while driving.
The Last Text feels like one of the old scare films. Let's hope kids today aren't too jaded to be as scared and their parents were when they saw Red Asphalt:
