"On deployment, there'll be fifty blokes to each woman."
HMForces.co.uk reports that the UK's Ministry of Defence has placed an advertisement in the Army's official magazine Soldier that urges female soldiers and civilian staff to bring their own condoms and not leave pregnancy prevention up to their male counterparts. Even though the British military prohibits sexual relationships in war zones, 102 pregnant women were sent home from Iraq and 31 from Afghanistan between 2003 and 2009.
