It’s finally here….it’s “Game Week” on “Yards & Stripes” as we get you ready for the kickoff of the 2018 college football season! Host Price Atkinson starts with his preseason power rankings of the three teams. He then previews Army’s opener at Duke (Friday, Aug. 31), Air Force’s hosting Stony Brook (Saturday, Sept. 1) and finally Navy’s trip across the country to face host Hawaii (Saturday, Sept. 1).
ABOUT PRICE ATKINSON
The son of a Vietnam veteran and former officer in the United States Army, "Yards & Stripes" founder and host Price Atkinson worked four years in the Sports Information Department at the U.S. Naval Academy. With a journalism background as a graduate and student-athlete at the University of Kentucky, he did a pair of stints writing for The Greenville News before transitioning into radio as the co-host of a local ESPN Upstate radio drive-time show. He lives in Greenville, S.C. with his wife and two sports-crazed kids.
