The mission of Patriot PAWS is to train and provide service dogs at no cost to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in order to help restore their physical and emotional independence. The organization currently only accepts applications from veterans who served during Desert Storm to present for fully certified Service Dogs. Pre-Desert Storm veterans can apply for a social companion dog. These dogs can be very helpful within the home but DO NOT have public access. For more information, visit the Patriot PAWS website.
