Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to register for a Boots to Business Reboot training program being held in February 2017 in conjunction with The American Legion Washington Conference. The program will take place from 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Ave. NW in Washington, D.C. Boots to Business Reboot is a two-step training program that provides participants an overview of business ownership as a career vocation, an outline and knowledge of the components of a business plan, a practical exercise in opportunity recognition and an introduction to available public and private sector resources.
