The following organizations are making a special effort to recognize Veterans Day by donating a portion of their sales to veteran causes or featuring special programs that give back to veterans and their families during November 2024 and, in some cases, beyond.

Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant is again partnering with the Honor Flight Network, a national nonprofit that provides veterans with free trips to national memorials and monuments in Washington, D.C., dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifice. At all Abuelo’s locations, the restaurant chain will donate $1 to Honor Flight for each chile con queso and queso diablo appetizer sold in-store or online from November 6-11, 2024.

Participating Sport Clips Haircuts locations will donate $2 from every hair care service provided on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, to support the VFW's "Sport Clips Help A Hero Scholarship" program. The company plans to raise funds in-store from October 6 through November 16. The company has awarded more than 3,000 scholarships totaling $13.8 million since 2013. Many Sport Clips locations will also offer free Veterans Day haircuts for veterans and active duty service members.

More Appreciations and Giving Back news will be listed as the information becomes available.
