Criminals use Golden AK-47 to Rob Store

On December 14, 2013, at 4:54 pm, two unknown males entered the 59th Street Mini Market located at 2101 North 59th Street in Wynnefield. Once inside one of the suspects who was armed with an AK-47 type rifle with the stock removed was pointing it at an employee demanding money. After taking an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes both suspects fled from the store and were captured on surveillance video running through a nearby alley. Suspect Description: Two black males, wearing masks over their faces black hooded jackets, dark colored pants and tan leather boots. One of the suspects was armed with an AK-47 style rifle with the stock removed.
