El Paso Police have charged a Fort Bliss, Texas soldier with murder in the Feb. 8 shooting death of a former Bliss soldier.

The findings concluded the high tempo of the unit's deployment cycle "placed remarkable stress on the soldiers in the unit."

Nine of the soldiers have been released from the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.

Two 1st Armored Division soldiers died over the weekend in vehicle-related accidents outside of Fort Bliss, Texas.

The U.S. Army has identified a 1st Armored Division staff sergeant from Fort Bliss, Texas found dead at his home Thursday.

The system is designed to track and destroy enemy missiles and other threats launched from up to 40 miles away.

The policy will renew a sense of urgency for soldiers who disappear, service leaders said.

Pvt. Richard Halliday, a 21-year-old last seen leaving his barracks room July 23, has been the subject of a search effort.

Officials at Fort Bliss are asking the El Paso community for assistance in an expanded search for Pvt. Richard Halliday.

Agents with the Army Criminal Investigation Command have recovered the soldier's handgun and are investigating the shooting.
