Well, thankfully the most recent military pay emergency was resolved. Now on to the August mid-month pay. Payday is on Monday, 15 August, 2011. Most military members will see their pay deposited sometime on Monday.
Some banks offer early deposit as a benefit to their members. Active duty service members who have their pay deposited to banks who offer early direct deposit (USAA, NFCU, PMCU, and others) will see their deposits post on Friday, 12 August, 2011. It can be anytime on Friday, not necessarily first thing in the morning. For example, NFCU members with Active Duty checking will see their pay will post overnight on Friday to be available for use on Saturday. I know some other banks use this schedule as well, with the funds not available until Saturday.
