So, I'm at the MOAA (Military Officer Association of America) Spouse Symposium in Virginia Beach, and I heard a neato rumor: Based upon some comments made by Secretary Gates, it seems likely that the MyCAA program might be reopening to new applicants within the next few months. Again, this is completely unsubstantiated, but I suggest that you keep your eyes and ears open so that we don't miss it if it happens. As we've seen, this benefit is definitely not permanent and we're going to have to jump on it when it reopens.
