There are several ways to be a volunteer at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). If you are a student, join VA's Student Volunteer Program and receive valuable experience for college and job applications. If you are already in the workforce, you can participate in VA's Company-Sponsored Volunteer Program. You can also volunteer with the VA Homeless Veterans Program or the VA National Cemetery Administration. Volunteers also provide transportation to VHA and participate in VA Welcome Home Celebrations and other special events.
