Tallahassee City Commissioners recently approved a permanent program to allow low-income veterans to ride StarMetro buses for free. The Veterans Bus Pass Program started as a pilot program in October 2014. The program is for low-income veterans, including those who are homeless. To receive a bus pass, qualified veterans should complete an application that will be processed through the Leon County Veterans Center.
