Verizon is offering a 15 percent discount for military personnel, retirees, and veterans. The company is also offering a 25 percent discount on accessories like chargers, cases and batteries and 12 percent off some calling features. The company has already identified 100,000 eligible accounts with the discount on monthly wireless service being applied automatically. If you have not been signed up, active duty personnel will need to show a military email or leave and earnings statement, and retirees and veterans can show an account statement from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service myPay site; DD Form 214; and the planned Veterans ID Card.
