The U.S. Marine Corps has issued guidance on the qualification process of the 2015 Active Reserve Officer Accession Board. Headquarters Marine Corps is currently accepting applications from qualified Marine officers, ranking from first lieutenants to majors, who are interested in joining the AR program. First lieutenants who are transitioning from the active component, Reserve officer commissioning program Marines or other officers must have a mandatory drill stop date of Oct. 1, 2015 or earlier in order to qualify for the selection board. In addition, captains who have not previously been passed for promotion in the Reserves, and majors with a date of rank of Sept. 1, 2012 or later, also qualify for the selection board.
