Here are several smart devices that have been found to be essential for severely injured veterans: (1) smart thermostats, which are important for Veterans with amputations to help regulate body temperature; (2) smart home security devices such as security cameras, alarms, and sensors; (3) lighting and appliance control; and (4) motorized furniture and appliances for veterans who have restricted mobility.
