Oklahoma City Cremation is asking local families to donate their aged American flags as part of its "Retire Your Flag" program. At the crematory, every veteran is cremated with a retired American flag as a meaningful way to honor the courageous men and women who have served our country and a patriotic way to retire a worn flag. When a flag is no longer worthy of display, families can simply drop it off at Oklahoma City Cremation at 910 N.W. 79th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to have the flag cremated free of charge. The retired flag will be draped across a veteran's casket at the time of cremation. For more information, visit the Oklahoma City Cremation website at http://www.oklahomacitycremation.com.
