Penn State Football Military Appreciation Day

Each year Penn State University and the local State College community hold a week of Military Appreciation activities to honor servicemembers, veterans, and their families. This year's events will kick off on November 4 and run through November 13. The featured event of the Military Appreciation week is the free tailgate party and tickets to the Penn State vs. University of Iowa game on November 5th. More than 7500 active duty military, veterans, Blue Star and Gold Star families are expected to participate in the tailgate and veterans ceremony.
