The U.S. Navy has expanded three key aviation bonus programs in an effort to keep experienced active-duty and Reserve pilots in the cockpit longer amid a Pentagon-wide aviator shortfall. The service on Tuesday announced that it has shifted the timeline contract requirements for the Aviation Department Head Retention Bonus and Aviation Command Retention Bonus programs, according to a release.
