A new Air Force mobile app aims to provide airmen with information they need for their work and careers. Air Force Connect was born out of the service’s 2018 Spark Tank competition — one of six ideas chosen as finalists, according to a recent news release. The app is designed to allow Air Force organizations to deliver timely information to airmen, their families and other members of the community. On the app, airmen can add their unit, determining what information is pushed to them. Popular features include Directory, Checklists, Groups, Polling, Events, PFT Calculator and Notifications. All features can be customized at the local level to meet specific needs. The app is now available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Read more at AF.mil.
