The U.S. Navy has announced that it will reconvene the FY-18 Active-Duty Advancement Selection Board for Master Chief Petty Officers (AE9) on July 31. The FY-18 AE9 Board was suspended, April 12, after the Navy received a report that board deliberations may have been compromised. The eligibility list will remain the same. The deadline for letters to the board was March 13. No further correspondence will be accepted. All previous board correspondence remains on file. For High Year Tenure (HYT) waivers for some senior chief petty officers, e-mail command-endorsed requests to Lt. Beau Blanchard (beau.blanchard@navy.mil), Linda Coffield (linda.coffield@navy.mil), and Elizabeth Vaughn (elizabeth.vaughn@navy.mil) no later than June 30, 2017.
