Applications are being accepted for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Joint Master's Degree in Oceanography Program. The program is open to qualified oceanography, submarine warfare and surface warfare officers looking to enhance their understanding and application of operational oceanography in the undersea warfare arena. Four quotas are available for the June 2017 program, and the deadline for application Jan. 5, 2017. Interested officers are encouraged to begin preparing their applications now.
