The U.S. Navy recently updated the Selective Reenlistment Bonus (SRB) award plan for active component (AC) and full time support (FTS) Sailors. Award levels for 39 skills in 24 ratings were added. The eligibility window to reenlist for SRB was increased from 90 days to 180 days before a Sailor's EAOS with exceptions. Eligible Sailors desiring SRB reenlistment should work with their command career counselors, command master chiefs and chains of command to discuss timing of reenlistment and procedures well before their EAOS. Requests are required to be submitted a minimum of 35 days prior to the requested reenlistment date. Stay informed of award changes through the U.S. Navy SRB webpage.
