The U.S. Navy has announced that some Sailors who are considering orders to sea-duty squadrons at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore may be authorized Assignment Incentive Pay (AIP). Those Senior Chief and Chief Petty Officers who are issued orders on or after Jan. 31, 2017 for Aviation Machinist Mate (AD), Aviation Electrician's Mate (AE) and Aviation Structural Mechanic (AM) with the Navy Enlisted Code (NEC) 8342 or 8800 are eligible to apply and may receive AIP. Sailors that already have orders or are currently stationed at NAS Lemoore are not eligible. To apply, members should submit applications and bid for an AIP assignment on the navy on-line career management system. The maximum AIP bid for this assignment is $500. Members may view maximum AIP bid amounts through their command career counselors or on the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) website.
