The Marine Corps has rolled out a new mobile platform that recruiters can use to track applicants from first meeting to when they leave boot camp and enter the fleet. The Marine Corps Recruiting Information Support System II, or MCRISS II, is designed to make recruiters' jobs easier, according to a release. The mobile platform is customizable, and recruiters can tailor their dashboards to align with their workflow. The platform uses cloud technology and can be used on government-issued smartphones, computers and tablets. The platform will store the personal information, background history and goals of applicants, allowing recruiters to easily compare applicants to each other and assess their fitness to meet the standards of the Marine Corps. The new tool will roll out to all recruiters over the next year. Read more at the Marine Corps website.
