The Marine Corps’ Wounded Warrior Regiment will host the DoD’s 2020 Warrior Games, featuring wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. The games, set for Sept. 21-28, 2020, will take place in San Antonio, according to a news release. More than 300 athletes from all military services will compete in 13 adaptive events as teams and individuals. The events for 2020 include archery, wheelchair basketball, road cycling, time-trial cycling, field, golf, powerlifting, indoor rowing, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, and wheelchair rugby. The 2020 event, which will mark the 10th anniversary of the Warrior Games, will also be only the second time in which all events will be held at public venues, rather than on a military installation.
