The U.S. Navy has announced that first-term Sailors on sea duty now have more time to request extension of their expiration of active obligated service (EAOS) to complete their sea duty assignment known as their prescribed sea tour (PST). The deadline for Sailors to submit their requests has been extended to Dec. 31, 2017. Sailors who volunteer to extend will benefit from additional opportunities to advance and apply for reenlistment quotas. Eligible Sailors should submit a NAVPERS 1306/7 form endorsed by their commanding officer to Navy Personnel Command. Non-nuclear Sailors send their forms to PERS81@navy.mil and nuclear Sailors send theirs to bullnuke@navy.mil both before the Dec. 31 deadline.
