The Joe Winslow Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution in Traverse City, Michigan is packing beauty bags full of toiletries will soon be on their way to women veterans in the state of Michigan. Around a thousand "Treat Her Like A Lady" bags will be given to each of the VA hospitals in the state and from there given to women veterans who need them. The chapter is accepting donations of toiletries, small bags, gift cards or money for the project. To donate, contact Jeanne McMillan at jeannemcmillan1953@gmail.com.
