The U.S. Army is seeking applications from soldiers who want to be considered for the Army Astronaut Candidate Screening Board. The two-part application process by be completed by Feb. 18. The application consists of an electronic submission directly to NASA through the USA Jobs website and a paper application mailed to the Army Astronaut Candidate Screening Board. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science, computer science or mathematics. Degrees must be followed by at least three years of related, progressively responsible professional experience or at least 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft.
