The U.S. Air Force has selected 479 senior master sergeants for promotion to chief master sergeant out of 2,241 eligible for a selection rate of 21.37 percent in the 18E9 promotion cycle. The average overall score for those selected was 494.05. Selectees' average time in grade was 2.92 years and time in service was 20.91 years. The chief master sergeant promotion list is available on the Enlisted Promotions webpage of the Air Force Personnel Center website, the Air Force Portal and myPers.
