Official pay charts for 2016 have been released. The 2016 National Defense Authorization Act included a 1.3 percent increase in military pay for 2016. However, the law essentially froze the pay for paygrades O-7 and above at 2015 levels. The new military pay charts apply to active members of the Navy, Marines, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
