SureFire has unveiled its newest flash hider that’s designed to help recoil management in 5.56mm carbines and rifles.
The WARCOMP-556-CTN is a closed-tine flash hider that mimics that of a traditional birdcage flash hider along with being a rock solid mounting option for SOCOM Series Fast-Attach suppressors.
The muzzle device is neutrally ported and has wrench flats machined into the sides of the adapter to ease in installation.
SureFire makes it clear that this closed-tine option “does not have as much flash reduction to that of the open tine adapter but still is very capable.”
It retails for $149.
