LAS VEGAS -- Blue Force Gear returned to SHOT Show 2015 with a lower-cost backpack and, of course, a dinosaur.

The Pooler, Georgia-based company displayed among its new offerings a wolf gray Micro DAP Pack.

"In a market flooded with packs, we're happy to bring an American-made pack for around $125," Stephen Hilliard, director of product development at Blue Force Gear.

The pack features velcro loop lining the interior for detachable pouches and slots on the top to route hydration packs, ear buds and other accessories. It will come in additional colors, including black, MultiCam and brown.

"We're really hoping this pack will energize customers who have been looking for an affordable day pack that has what we call tactical features, but doesn't scream tactical backpack," Hilliard said.

In addition to packs, the company also showed off belt pouches and a new sling designed for AK-47-style rifles.

"After years of under-servicing the AK market, we finally brought to market the one AK sling that will rule them all," Hilliard said.

Stealing the most attention at the Blue Force booth, however, was its velociraptor named Terry that was decked out in gear and posing atop a rotating platform.
