I was able to spend a few minutes with Lindy from ESS before heading out to the range at the TTPOA Conference. She took a few minutes to go over their "Cross Series", a multi-lens kit with the Crossbow and Crossbow Suppressor. I have not personally done much with this particular breed of ESS goggle other than throw them on the counter in a steam-filled bathroom after a shower to check on the anti-fog properties (which work surprisingly well). I did wear them just a short period of time (they were comfortable, but I didn't have the chance to wear them under a helmet or on the range) however it was by no means long enough to provide a proper review.
That said, I like ESS products (never cared much for the Wiley-X gear I've worn myself) and I think these have a lot of potential. I've been wearing a pair of the ESS black CDIs ever since my previous pair of sunglasses suffered a grisly fate at the hands of my 4-year old nephew Mongo. (That was a pair of 5.11 Climbs, in the interest of full disclosure, and I was very happy with how they held up, and for how long). When I lose these black CDIs (and those of you who know me know that I WILL lose them, and soon) I'll be trying a pair of their Copper 5Bs and will let you know how they are.

As usual, would be interested to hear your feedback on eyepro and of course any suggestions on what you'd like to see investigated or reviewed.
This is the spec sheet for the Cross Series.
