Job Summary:
The Corporate Staff Accountant maintains financial record and perform accounting activities related to month end close, tax, budget, and audit
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain assets, liabilities, bank, tax and other financial or business record
Perform month end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Perform government filling or reporting for indirect tax, licensing or statistical purpose
Create sales tax certificate for customers and prepare sales tax certificate for vendors
Prepare information for Bank reporting purpose
Assist in providing information for audit inquiries
Assist in budgeting
Assist in account variance analysis
Assist in GAAP and tax research
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel/Power Pivot, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Detail oriented, highly accurate with numbers, good organization and communication skills
Must be capable of speaking, reading and writing English with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts in an accounting environment.
