Warning: Loud Volume -- May 2, 2014 -- Russian militia forces have shot down three Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopters in Eastern Ukraine's Slavyansk. Ukraine's military was running a large scale operation to crack down on the pro-Russian occupation in the city. They used 20 helicopters in this operation, and eventually succeeded in taking back control. Of the three downed helicopters, one pilot was killed and another captured. It is not known what happened
