Know the quarterly earnings report, the backgrounds of those you are preparing to meet, and drive by the interview location beforehand; (2) reach out to other veterans who have successfully transitioned and learn from them; (3) spell terms out in civilian language; (4) translate military ranks into equivalent civilian job titles; and (5) avoid using acronyms.
