Tricare is a health insurance program for military members, their dependents, retirees, and some survivors & former spouses.
To use Tricare, you must be listed in DEERS as being eligible for military health care benefits.
Tricare-eligible persons include the following:
- Military members and their families
- National Guard/Reserve members and their families
- Survivors
- Some former spouses
- Medal of Honor recipients and their families
